Walden Family Services (Walden) has received a generous donation of educational software from Carlsbad-based company, WordSmart to help foster children, who are often behind in their education due to changing schools, reach grade level in vocabulary and reading.

“After sampling the software with our Walden social workers and foster parents, we could not
wait to provide this amazing learning tool to our foster families. Walden’s foster parents are
