To address the unmet needs in our community, Walden has chosen to serve the most critical foster care/adoption cases. To accomplish this, Walden relies heavily on the expertise of its Treatment Team to assess each child before they are place in a home. Walden’s Treatment Team consists of various professional individuals who encompass mastery skills working with children who are developmentally delayed, medically fragile and/or experience mental health issues. In addition to those skill-sets, many of our team members are also very knowledgeable in working with our LGBTQ population and our pre-and post-emancipating youth.
Walden’s Treatment Team is composed of: BA/MA/MS Level Social Workers, Intake Coordinators, Skills Trainers, Behavior & Nurse Consultants, Recruiters, Trainers (Introduction/Ongoing Curriculum Training), Office Managers and Highly-Trained Foster/Adoptive Parents.
Our Treatment Team is highly regarded and their expertise continues to help many children develop a modicum of success as they navigate the system and begin to foster a promising future.
