Walden Family Services is celebrating 33 years of fulfilling our mission of supporting the lives of foster children and families through lasting relationships. Walden Family Services fosters promising futures.
How do we do this? We provide loving, stable families for foster children and youth, with a focus on those with "special needs." Our children, in addition to having experienced severe neglect, abandonment and/or physical or sexual abuse, also often have developmental delays or special health care needs, require intensive therapy, or may simply be part of a sibling group that wants to stay together. They are the most challenging to find a home for, so we work our hardest for them. At Walden Family Services, we train our parents extensively on how to work with these children to maintain a stable family environment and ultimately allow them to grow into successful adults. We provide qualified staff, support services and ongoing training to ensure that every resource a family needs, it will have. We believe that every child deserves a family.
