As a result of past trauma, many foster children need mental health services such as individual, group and family counseling, skill building activities and psychiatric services to heal. In 2002, Walden opened a mental health clinic in San Diego County to ensure our children develop into healthy adults. Services include individual and family therapy, group therapy, skills training, parent coaching and psychiatric services.
